Embroidery Frequently asked Questions FAQs

1. Can my logo be embroidered exactly as it is?
We do our best to match your logo, but embroidery has limitations with small text, gradients, and fine details. We’ll advise if any adjustments are needed.

2. What file format do you need for my logo?
A high-resolution PNG with transparant background or vector file (like AI, EPS, or PDF) works best.  This will show us what belongs to the logo and what is just part of the background.  If you're unsure, just upload what you have!

3. How much does it cost to digitize my logo?
Digitizing usually has a one-time fee, starting from $15 depending on complexity, this is to cover our labour to create the file,  the machine file remains our property, but it can be purchased at additional cost. We’ll provide a quote before starting.  The cost includes one stitch sample.

4. Will the colours in my logo match exactly in thread?
We match your logo colours as closely as possible using our range of thread colors. Exact digital colour matches may not always be possible as thread colour options are limited.

5. What’s the minimum and maximum size for embroidery?
Minimum size depends on the detail in your logo.

As a guide

Chest logos should fit with in a 10 x 10cm area.

Cap logos should fit with in 10w x 5 cm area

Back logos should fit with in 26 x 26 cm area (our frames have rounded corners which must be allowed for).   

We’ll recommend the best size for your item.

6. Can you embroider on any type of fabric or garment?
We can embroider on most garments including polos, jackets, hats, and bags. Let us know what you have in mind!

Delicate fabrics may pinch and pucker.

7. How long does the process take?
Digitizing takes 1–2 business days. Production time depends on your order size, usually 5–15 business days after approval when garments are in stock.

8. Can I see a sample before you do the full order?
Yes! We can provide a digital proof or a sample stitch-out for approval before we proceed.

9. Is there a minimum order quantity?
We have no minimums for most items. Let us know your quantity and we’ll tailor a quote.

10. Can I make changes to the logo for embroidery?
Absolutely. We can simplify or adjust your logo to make it embroidery-friendly while keeping your brand identity intact.  Simple changes are free, significant changes may incur a fee.

11. Can you design or a logo.

Yes we can, additional fees will apply.  You can also use online logo makers.

Text logos using our fonts are free to set up.

12. Can I supply my own garments

You may ask the question as we do make some exceptions, but generally we do not unless you are an existing customers.  The reason is because sometimes things go wrong and we can't accept the risk or replace your supplied garments.

Our embroidery service is to complement our uniform sales.
