Head

Head protection is an item of personal protective equipment (PPE), which is generally designed to protect the scalp area and sometimes the jaw as well. The face is generally not covered by head protection and eye protection. Noise protection or hearing protection and respiratory protection are separate kinds of PPE, thus are not covered under head protection. Head protection is any equipment that protects these areas from impact trauma and burns.
